My whole world revolves around MUSIC. I come from a family of musicians: my mom Nancy (who's a pastoral team member) sings back-up, my dad Derek plays the guitar, my eldest brother Kenneth (who's a preacher and a youth leader) sings the lead vocals, my second elder brother Kelvin plays the bass (he's among the best in Klang Valley) and my younger brother Joe plays the drums.
In the Music Ministry, I'm a lead vocalist and a keyboardist (I'm still learning the guitar and drums). Besides that, I'm also a youth leader of ChristClan and a member of the GetReal'07 youth camp committee. I'm also a songwriter (in 2001, I won an Original Composer Award in 'That '70s Talent Quest', organised by St. Gabriel's Church), a poet (I got a Merit Award from the International Society of Poets; some of my poems were published and recorded in the US), a scriptwriter (I wrote, directed and produced ChristClan's debut stage play: 'Fallen From Grace') and a modern dance choreographer (I've been dancing since I was 12; I was a member of a dance troop called 'People of Power' and we had toured the country a few times).
I've won awards in singing competitions and I've also performed at special events.
