That is true. And my mother is an Aquarius and she is the most evil person I know. She sabotagued and manipulated me all my life. BTW Aquarians are distant cold and are childish but they know others have emotions and try to use it against them. What does that lead to...it leads to them being alone. They maybe good but they aren't that good. Eventually we will figure out what they are doing and then it will make us sick to our stomach. When I left home I packed up my things and went as far West as possible and I haven't picked up the phone to talk to my mother since. This is the woman who stopped talking to my father because she thought he had cancer and thought he wouldn't be sending money anymore. They are obsessed with money. She will die alone. We finally caught onto her. And as for being out of touch w/ reality LOL truer words were never spoken. Aquarians are blessed with a remarkable intellect however and that is what got me interested in them. Their eccentricity is charming as well but I am realizing it is not eccentricity but just mental illness. Talk about a huge disappointment

I was in love w/ an Aquarius male but I discovered that he's very selfish and cares about money. For example he wanted me to move in w/ him and pay him rent LOL nevermind that he makes 6 figures. In the end I couldn't handle his stingy ignorant Republican self. AT first I liked how smart and eccentric he was and I was so attached to him because I had a wonderful time in the 1st 3 months but in the end I just walked away. He was too busy he called me once a week. He didn't understand my need for affection and attention. He didn't reciprocate sexually. He just wasn't generous and emotional enough. I tried to warn him a few times so finally I just walked away. He tried to get together w/ me again but I told him I got another job which is true but I don't want to see him again ever. He tried to manipulate me and that makes me want to be sick. Why get attached to someone who doesn't care?
Not long after that I met a pisces and he is so wonderful. He's artistic like me and intense. Dreamy emotional and I don't have to talk to him for him to know things I just have to feel them. He understands me! I found what I had been looking for all my life in a Piscean. He is psychic and he asks for me and he needs me. He comes looking for me. How sweet for someone to want you around and we're not even together yet.
Something a snobby money and power obsessed Aquarian wouldn't do. And he should have spent more money on me instead of pointing out that my car is older and that I'm not as rich as he is. Is that supposed to endear him to me? It didn't work. He's a cold person and doesn't deserve the warmth and passion that someone like me could bring and I rocked his world but he's not that great. And I won't forget how I cried earlier on because I like him alot but I realized he wasn't going to treat me as well as he said he would and there was no changing that. That was just lipservice. IF you aren't careful he will manipulate you into loosing your identitity/sense of self because when I went over to his house it was all about him and his life. Never about me and what I liked.

Glad to know that I'm not the only one feelin' the aquarian curse. I've dated 4 now and the others were jsut causal dates. This last one was a serious relationship. They all had the same thing in common. Distant, selfish, childish when they don't get their way. They claim to be humanatarians but I have never seen them do anything to better the world around them. I'm not talking about recycling but something like volunteering. Myslf, I volunteered for the peace corps. So, this whole "I'm a humanatarian speech falls on deaf ears unless you do soemthing about it. Aquarians are destined to be alone for a long time. Back to this last girl. We brokeup 3 times for reasons I still don't understand. The first I lived in another city and we broke up becasue of distance. So, like an idiot I moved back. Next thing you know, she says it isn't working out. So, number 2. Then I stop talking and e-mailing her then we apparantely are back together (which I didn't even know) The final time is when she gets mad because she doesn't get what she wants and stops talking to me or returning my calls for 3 days. So, number 3. But, it still isn't over yet. The folloing few months we go through th calling and texting. She wants to see me she doesn't. She misses talking to me etc.. Then she finds out she is movng for her job. So, back to nothing. Then she may stay so she starts calling again. hen she is definately moving. Then little to no contact. So, I am done with this aquarian and all others. There are selfish and detached and have no regard for someone that they claim to care about.
What really gets me is they are suppose to be so in touch. They are in touch alright. Too bad it's not with reality...

I am an Aquarian woman, I am rarely friends with my ex's because after I break up I find that trying to be their friend leads them to believe that I want them back. In true Aquarian form, I believe in 'once it's over, it's over'. I tend only to look back to understand, not to remaninence. As far as the worst way to break up with an Aquarian, I think I agree with using the 'it's not you, it's me' approach has hurt the worst. It has been done to me, and left me puzzled and confused. Though I don't like drama, I want the honest truth, and most of the time, breaks are because of both parties, not just one. The only one to ever break my heart was another aquarian, he knew how to win my heart and just where to put the knief. Though I admit, I am not mad at him, because I do not believe it was malicious, just him being an aquarius. He was detached, and I couldn't handle it because this was the first time in my life that I allowed myself to become attached. See how that works! The best way to break it off with an Aquarian is to tell them you will love them forever (ego) but that you know they will be happier with someone else. It is the truth for both of you. Because although we seem attached, we always hold our past relationships in a special place, if we committed to you, it was because we really did love you. Otherwise we would have just blown you off a long time ago.

I like what trisch said. Being a drama queen will definitely push an aquarian away... but DO NOT make their friends choose sides or spread rumors about them. They are not ones for revenge... but they are definitely capable of it. Chances are they have analyzed every person they've come into contact with to the point where they know their strengths and weaknesses...and if you hurt them enough, they will knock you out in one hit, just to end it all. Their friends are very important to them, they won't give them up that easily.

Funny... I knew an Aquarian who was the epitome of the sign---brilliant, quirky, friendly, easy going, emotionally detached, etc. etc.---exCEPT when it came to one (just one) of his girlfriends. He was insanely jealous to the point of getting into fist fights with five or six of her male friends because they were getting too "close" with her (they weren't). SHE had to dump HIM. Well hey- the names Trisch, and I'm an Aquarian...I've read a lot of these comments and I'd have to say that some of you are being way too hard on us. Cold? UNFRIENDLY? Never...unless you deserve it hehe...I think the worst way to break up with an Aquarian is to be all emotionally smothering about it, because if you start being all drama queen about it it just creates all this weirdness between the two of you. Oh, and the never wanting to see them again- that one stings. I have dated SO many dudes that just couldn't handle being my friend after the breakup- and I could never understand why- I mean, if it wasn't meant to be it just wasn't- and as for those Aquarian dudes who were acting like jerks because they got dumped- it's a pride thing...He's not mad because you don't want to be with him, he's pissed because you hurt his pride and he's arrogant (we're all pretty self-riteous at times...or maybe all the time- I've been told) so when somebody bashes on our pride we take it very offensively. I will admit that it's hard for us to show any emotion- usually by the time we do, the other person has given up on us...which recently happened with me and Virgo boy. He waited for me for like 8 months- sent me flowers, told me how much he missed me, called me his Aquarian Goddess (bla bla bla) and FINALLY...I fell for him. Guess he got tired of waiting. O well. I guess it sux to be him- he'll never find another Divine Goddess like me who would ever grace him with her presence. I wonder how or why I ever fell for him at all as a matter of fact...he's not even cute. He hasn't called me in awhile...

Oh wow you guys!! This is funny to read hahahaahahaha... i have a best friend, and when i say best friend i mean really bestest friend in the world and he is an aquarius. We love each other to pieces, however he's a man and i'm a woman and guess what? we kissed, then after 3 months we slept together. He's still my best friend in the whole wide world and he thinks the same way about me too. He said he loves me sooo much, and i asked to explain how, he said he loves like a best friend cuz i'm the best since i understand him so very well, and he loves me like a sister since we argue sometimes like he's my bro lol! and above all he loves me like a man loves a woman because i do things to his mind that no one has ever even come close to. I don't know if we're gonna be together forever, we are on the same page here, we haven't told anyone about us but his brother and cousin, and when his parents asks what's the deal between us two our response is "we're just BFFS!" even his mom had a dream that we were dating, how funny. Recently I broke up with a aquarius man. I am a leo myself and I just felt he had way to much pride and ego. He would never really be honest with me about how he really felt. He would tell me he loved me but do things the exact opposite because he felt we were getting to close. He would tell other people that he is madly in love but never tell me anything and I got tired of the up and down roller coaster.Aquarians are very good at detachment. They would rather be your friend as long as you stay in their life. He used to always tell me friendship is more important then relationships. How ever when I cut his behind loose he is acting very vindictive right now. I did say for him to never call me again and I didn't speak to him for two weeks literally 14days. I broke up with Mr. Aquarius by saying "I think we'd make better friends than lovers." I have a feeling he's withholding his friendship as revenge for me breaking up with him. Did I mention that his Venus is sitting in the oh-so-Scorpionic 8th house along with my Sun? :( I hope he's feeling really horrible about that, considering he used to tell me all the time that I was his best friend (which meant a lot to me considering he has a million friends/acquaintances).

Jeff, I know that traditional astrology would agree with everything you've written about Aquarius, but my most recent experience with one is sooooo different. I like to be friends with exes (if there wasn't too much drama, that is), but my Aquarius ex doesn't want to be friends with me at all. (He says he can't think of me as anything else but his girlfriend.) We haven't spoken/written in almost two months. Our only communication has been him sending me a text message and an IM with some random link to an error site in Nowhere'sville, Cyberland. (Is that a subliminal message?)

During our rship, he behaved like an atypical Aquarius in that he was jealous (but hated that he was!) and emotionally dependent on me. I will say, though, that he did NOT like being this way and that was the major reason for our problems. Instead of dealing with the emotions he wasn't used to having, he just denied or repressed them. And then would explode. Let me tell ya, those explosions were contagious.
