When I was little, I learned the lesson very quickly that inventing stories was the same as lying and just as harmful. While I don't actively lie (I find I can't, or not convincingly unless I feel it's really necessary to lie) I sometimes stretch the truth when I can't think of words I want or don't have the patience to explain the entirety of the situation. I don't ever remember lying about something really important to someone I cared about--the guilt would eat at me. I feel no guilt about lying to strangers or people who pry, however.

When someone directly lies to me about something, I become really offended. Indignant is the best word to describe it. Ironically, it was a Pisces who was lying to me. He was saving face, but I still felt as if I'd been slapped.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37240917.post-4336092465582525712007-12-22T06:19:00.000-05:002007-12-22T06:19:00.000-05:00Judging from your profile and blog on Seduction Ce...Judging from your profile and blog on Seduction Central Carolynita you are a woman of many graces! We're all that and then some :) To be honest though, I find the whole exaggeration thing more true of Sagittarian men rather than women.

They have the tendency to embellish their stories in order to entertain their audiences. Of course I've also known them to carry on several relationships at once, fibbing blatantly - albeit convincingly - all the while.

For myself I've gotta say that I avoid exaggeration, generally sticking to facts (mainly because I'm absent-minded and forget what I've said afterwards) and tend to lie only to cover my *ahem* indescretions or just to keep the status quo. Could be the Virgo rising, *sigh* my only saving grace.carolynitanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37240917.post-13202911525167161722007-12-16T15:28:00.000-05:002007-12-16T15:28:00.000-05:00he who is guilty of the least is guilty of the who...he who is guilty of the least is guilty of the whole

we are all liars, born in sin, shaped in iniquity

love all, trust few
learn to paddle your own canoewhatevernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37240917.post-74819830698271973792007-12-16T11:24:00.000-05:002007-12-16T11:24:00.000-05:00To respond to "Pisces may lie, but Sagittarius str...To respond to "Pisces may lie, but Sagittarius stretches the truth" ~
I just want to say that there is a definite difference between exajurating and lying!!BalancedSagnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37240917.post-22985694519154765332007-12-14T02:22:00.000-05:002007-12-14T02:22:00.000-05:00Yeah, well we desereved it, I know. Sagittarius is having the time of their lives. Brimming with happiness and laughter all the way with the Leos.
Next day Sagittarius is telling a friend and to put across the point of how they felt Sagittarius makes it into 50 people in the room. We definately exaggerate and I think it might be because we want to share the feeling with other people but one thing I notice when I exaggerate is I always retrace my story and say there were probably only 20 people in that room.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37240917.post-21910127959180267262007-12-13T00:30:00.000-05:002007-12-13T00:30:00.000-05:00radioactive****correction on that wordsorry for mo...radioactive****correction on that word

sorry for mouthing-off Jeffrey.Sagilarioushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15469878550662143348noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37240917.post-90721206474751311092007-12-13T00:28:00.000-05:002007-12-13T00:28:00.000-05:00Didn't Pisces used to be ruled by my planet Jupite...Didn't Pisces used to be ruled by my planet Jupiter?

I don't know whether to comment on our attack of the Cancer/Pisces guy, or this post.

I am guessing we Sag people are getting our chops busted cause we got all riled up and started shooting arrows at people....so Jeffrey thinks we need to be punished?

Anyone ever seen the movie Big Fish? The way that story is told pretty much exemplifies what Jeffrey is getting at here.

Either way, we don't hurt anyone by making a story better, so long as we aren't intentionally deceiving. We are the sign that likes to entertain. It's hard not to do it. Me having a Pisces moon just sets me up for the double wammy, which has made me hyper-sensitive about the idea, as though lying is radiactive. I think my Sag plays dominatrix on my poor Pisces and makes her fess up too much :(

And if you wanna say bad stuff about Sag, don't forget we get bored of our mates easily and have affairs, can't seem to hold on to money to save our own life, and must make a painful conscious effort to acknowledge when we are hurting someone with our words. Oh, we are also self-righteous, highly-combustible, so sexually promiscuous that we could've spread aids all by ourselves if someone had asked us to.Sagilarioushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15469878550662143348noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37240917.post-34455655581145101442007-12-12T19:04:00.000-05:002007-12-12T19:04:00.000-05:00Ive Known Sags to exaggerate to make a story bette...Ive Known Sags to exaggerate to make a story better. I tend to be brief on the details if I see them as not of the essence to the point I try to make!:)
With Uranus in Scorpio on the MC, I'm a recurring, and, more often than not, innocent suspect (lol), and for this reason, I'm a good liar when I have to. (Haven't had to since my Saturn return, though. Am I finally blending in?:P).
With the Sun and Mercury rx in the 8th and Chiron in Taurus in the 3rd house, three is a crowd to my inner story-teller;) while at the same time Pluto on the 9th house cusp channels a soul given to some preaching, I'm afraid;)

My ex had Mercury conjunct Neptune in Sagittarius in the 3rd house. He would not exactly tell any tall tales; rather, he would often omit crucial details and so left me in the dark very effectively. This was extremely annoying in the long run, because it was nearly impossible to tell when he did it on purpose and when he was just being absent-minded...;)
I know someone with 5(!!!) planets in Pisces who does exactly the same thing...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
