Cheating is wrong, because it hurts people. And I guess you could say I'm a serial cheater although it's only been with a handful of lovers. This post really hit home...I was like HEY that's me! Even though it's no laughing matter I laughed, because everything said is so true about myself. I've just accepted that's the way that I am and always will be.

I in no way condone cheating, I'm just saying that there's something about this sign that is attracted to freedom and breaking the rules. There are many ways to be an independent spirit without betraying your lover/spouse.

im an aquarius girl, and im so sorry, but this makes absolutely no sense to me, i really like astrology and used to see some sort of truth in it...but i guess im just a really bad aquarius. my moon is libra, my mercury pisces, my rising is virgo, my mars is cancer, and i have alot of capricorn. But i am completely against cheating, I have NEVER cheated, LOVE AND SEX COME HAND AND HAND IN MY OPINION, I DONT KNOW HOW ANYONE CAN FEEL SAFE AND SECURE HAVING A FLING. I(an Aquarius gal)try sooo hard to follow rules or simple commands, but yea it is kinda like set in stone for me to uhm disobey. Like if you ask me for something, I would have been more likely to give it to you if you hadn't. Maybe it'll come l8er... I like authority over me, but NOT that kind. I dont know if there is a difference between Aquarian males and Aquarian females when I comes to cheating. I am an Aquarian male and I would never cheat.

It has nothing to do with what is acceptable by societal standards. I could not care less about what others think. I just could never imagine doing something like that to someone I cared for. The idea that betraying someone and then lying to them about it, is some form of freedom is twisting what it means to be free. I definitely walk to the beat of my own drum but victimizing a person I care about will never be part of my rhythm section.

If you want to have an open relationship then have it open. That is cool as long as the other person knows the deal. Anything else is just mean and uncaring.

This discussion makes me really sad. My best friend was just dumped by her recent boyfriend (of over a year), and its the first time she came to me with intense distraught. Ever since Ive known her, she was with someone. I was actually jealous. She was never alone. I marveled at this ability! She is of course an aquarius, and I a libra. I was desperate for a connection with someone, a real partnership. And I eventually found it, just much much later than her. But she still hasnt found. She has cheated on every person she's been with, and has found herself unable to stop.

Is it freedom? I think its terribly lonely. I dont know very many people that would put up with cheating. I know I dont. Its just not acceptable. And its absolutely not fair. If they want to express freedom, cant they find a healthy outlet? Its sad they hurt others and seem to not find much remorse in it.

I'm an aquarius woman too, one who has been polyamorous for awhile but before then had referred to the act as "cheating." Yea so I fit the stereotype of being an activist, I work in human rights for a living, and I'm all for people creating the world the want and overall in my personal life I'm quite anti-social, but really, why do we believe that one person can provide us with all the physical, mental and emotional needs we have. I mean c'mon. It is the most natural thing (just look at most beings on the planet) to be polyamorous. I've recently begun a monogamous relationship, it's been 6 months and I'm having a wonderful time. He's a Libra and I think he has a great demeanor. But it's because I want to--not because it's expected. Just do what is right for you. Sometimes you shouldn't be monogamous. It's not for everyone, it doesn't come naturally so if you've always had problems being monogamous that might be your clue. My partners never realized that every time I cried when I told my partner I had been with someone else, it wasn't because I felt bad it was simply because I was crying for NOT feeling bad about it, mostly I just didn't want to hurt their feelings. Then comes good ol karma.Woever had sit by that secretive indecision period while staying faithfull hasto suffer the sorrow of thinking everything was going great.My ex was an aquarius and i thank you for finaly answering the qimportant questions that have been lurking in my mind.Aquarius age freedom of sex but yet karma always brings everybody back to the reality of what is constructive.

Well, I'm an Aquarian, and in my mind there are two types of Aquarin (ones who will cheat, and ones who would NEVER cheat) The ones who would never cheat are usually the ones who are the most loyal to the principal of not cheating. It's not that they don't want to, it's that their "moral principal' won't allow them to- because they are loyal to the principal. I used to be one of those Aquarians...until I realized that being loyal to your principal dosen't mean that you have to be miserably controlled forever. But EVERY Aquarian has this really unique gift to seperate the physical from the emotional- (and a lot of people don't understand this) but we can go have fling after fling and be totally casual about it- (even if we're with someone), but our feelings remain loyal to the other person. Sex is just sex, but love is love...there's a huge difference there. Anyone can have sex, but not just anyone can fall in love (or even care for that matter) so when we care, we care a lot, and we are loyal to the FEELING...and it's not like we're NOTORIOUS cheaters or anything, but if we're in a relationship and we're feeling unhappy for (well, it could be for any reason I guess) we have the ability to be casual. So let's not call it cheating I mean, afterall, we still love you...and it's very hard to earn the love of an Aquarian. But I'd say that more often than not, we're pretty faithful. MOST of the time, if an Aquarian is even thinking about cheating, they'll tell you straight up and just break it off with you right then and there. So I'd say don't worry about it TOO much, but keep an eye open if you must.

As an Aquarius woman, I sort of stumbled upon this post with that "WELL I NEVER" kind of mindset which quickly tumbled down into "hey, wait, he's right."

With my moon in Scorpio, I find myself constantly at odds with myself. When I'm in a relationship, I commit myself wholly and completely--sorta kinda maybe.
