Hi:) I'm a Saggie married to a Cappie for 34 years and holy smokes!... I just found out my
Venus is in Capricorn (his Venus in Aquarius)...why was I drawn to him...mmm lemme see. Actually I didn't lure him, he lured me (he likes my legs!) He was tall, dark, and handsome...still is... (kind of superficial of me huh); he was always financially stable...still is; sex was great...oops we don't do that anymore (my fault, I'm holding the only grudge I've every held in my life). Horoscope says Caps are highly sexed. Well he's stern, hardworking (but then so am I), consistent (not like me), saves a bundle (not like me), has good taste, and has worked his way up the ladder (something I don't care about). I don't care about his status Lexus either. He's great at follow through and finishing details. He's quite content if I take the initiative socially. He says that Scorpios respect him. He deals with harsh reality and rages war with everything and everyone on the planet he vehemently hates. I have a scared uncomfortable feeling around him but I think it's just stress. I'm enthusiastic but no one knows how to put out the fire like him. And he's supposed to more advanced on the zodiac wheel! *scarcastic*. I don't really find him depresssed...maybe because he has 3 planets in Aquarius. We're more housemates than anything else. Mind you, I've learned alot from this man, especially about realism. But I often wonder if I'd be a success if I could just be on my own, or with someone I could be enthusiastic with. Like the Tarot Hero/Fool, I'm ready to take that quantum leap! I try to stay optimistic, even when I fake it, but it's not easy. I love philosophy and metaphysical subjects. He not only doesn't fancy those subjects, he shreds them to pieces. He has an uncanny 'knowing' about things. I love camping out and rving...he hates it. He wants the big house...I don't care about it. In other words, marriage for me is when two people set sail for common goals, otherwise there's no point. Well we don't have common goals) except we had two beautiful kids. Perhaps money is the only thing we seem to have in common. My horoscope says if we could just get together with him we'd be "dynamite". Talk about being alone in a pseudo-marriage! I thought I could 'learn' to love him but it didn't work. I'm more trying to get away from him all the time. If I sometimes cry, there's no sympathy, hugs or kisses, only criticism. Everything was ok in the beginning; no fireworks, but ok. Horoscope says Cap's a true Rockstar...independent, powerful & seriously charismatic..either totally on or off. And he is a talented musician guitarist. I write lyrics to songs but we can't seem to get together that way either. The rock group "Pink Floyd" wrote "...we're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year, running over the same old ground." That's us. My Venus in conservative Capricorn may be squelching his Venus in unconventional Aquarius's roller-coaster in the Midway of Love! I think it's time to let him loose! (at least that wouldn't be superficial of me:)

@maximus, there was some humor injected into this post, and although I did rely on stereotype, I do believe that I addressed some part of the essence of the sign. I am glad to hear that you and your Pops are so fun-loving, but I would venture to guess that there are other factors in your horoscope that contribute to this aspect of your character -- many planets in Sagittarius, perhaps? And please refrain from the use of obscenities in the future, out of respect to our readers.

Damn Homie, that is some fucked up stuff to say about a capricorn man. Matter-o-fact, Most of us aren't even like that. My dad and I are both caps and we live fun loving lives, doing crazy stuff on the spur of the moment, and just living life not worrying about the past, but always looking forward. I'd describe us as very optimistic, and even my pops at the age of 64 is still awesome. I mean Old fart, that's pretty harsh dude. Seems like you have something against caps, and like to play on a stereotypical level hmm... Ok, Ok, you do what you do, and we'll do what we do. But if your posting ways to help people, try to do it with "some" sophistication and non-bias. God, do the chickens have large talons? I'll let you be the judge.. Jeff.

It's interesting because my very first "serious" crush was a Capricorn. We had the same interests and his intense focus on those common interests attracted me. It was just a high school crush though and recently I met him again. It was a sobering experience. I realized there is NOTHING about his personality that I find attractive, he's so conservative and boring...

My first real love was a Capricorn, too... (sad, huh? but we were best friends first). I made the classic female mistake when she encounters a moody, melancholic, pessimistic man.

I was in a relationship with a younger ( by 6 years )capricorn man for 2 years. We seemed to have many things in common in the begining, we were both very young at heart, but as time went by and from very early on there seemed to be a very strong parent/ child situation going on. I was married to a Capricorn man for 19 years - he was not a typical Cap because he was very optimistic and didn't worry too much about the future. I reckon he knew there wasn't a long future for him so he lived very much in the now. Hard going at times. I dated another Capricorn - lasted 3 weeks - albeit it an intense 3 weeks. Lesson learned - avoid Capricorns - bad news for Sags.
