I'm sure it does feel good to explode and let that fireball get out, but do you ever consider the wreckage your explosion leaves behind? I feel singed after dealing with a fire sign or fire-influenced explosion, while they feel better. My last two breakups happened like that. I walked out after an ex's explosion and he didn't understand why I was leaving.

Meanwhile, I have explosions of my own, but those are last resort explosions. :)

My old boss is an Aries. Totally brilliant but obnoxious, firey, impatient, had a temper that flared as quickly as my Sag one. That was the hard part - being a fire sign too and knowing my usual antics didn't work on him. Typically a direct male, when he didn't promote me (like he said he would) and I called him out on it, he shaded out completely, never giving me a straightforward reason and wouldn't talk to me for months. I made numerous attempts to get to the bottom of this and busted my ass to prove my capabilities and value to his agency. NOTHING. Having been his favorite employee for so long, I was totally stumped by all of this and internalized it (not sure if that's completely a Sag trait). What had I done wrong? How do you go from being two people who got along and could tolerate each other to the complete opposite?? So I pulled away - just like he had - and didn't socialize with him anymore, didn't show any enthusiasm like I used to - all the things that drive both of us fire signs crazy. So it was a double edged sword. I got even but I was miserable too. Eventually I did the typical Sag thing and left. I don't think he was surprised. We left on relatively decent terms. Interestingly after a few months away in a new job, and me working through all my lingering issues, I stopped by and he wound up emailing me afterwards saying thanks for dropping in...since then we've been colleagues and when I decided to start my own marcomm agency, he was a huge supporter and mentor. AND even offered some insight into why he did what he did when I still worked for him (I was young and emotional).

Oh, and Jeffrey, you are right about the best revenge. To not let that person make your life less, they do not even get the satisfaction of being worth your revenge. It reminds me of a quote by a FAMOUS Pisces author, Chuck Palahniuk: "If you could be God's worst enemy or nothing, which would you chose?"

Scorp....that teacher should have checked your sign out before messing with you child. DUH!!! I would never dare to mess with the child of a scorpio woman, holy s**t.

Also, I dated an Aries for all of 2-3 weeks when I discovered he was a TERRIBLE liar. Any man who thinks he is gonna lie to me is also an idiot in my book, so I carefully led him around until he was standing face-to-face with one of his lies, since he continuously told me he wasn't lying and he was "an honest person." He STILL insisted he was an honest person, even though he admittedly was caught red-handed.

The worst revenge I had for him was to show him what a honest person looks like: I told him honestly "For the rest of my entire life, I never want to see you or speak to you again, EVER!"

It took him 6 months of continual pursuit before it finally sunk in for him that I wasn't making that up.

The warrior lost a battle. Completely lost it. There was not even a shred of victory because even when he threatened "I am gonna get married" and "Don't you want me to bring your things back to you?" I didn't even call back, answer, or acknowledge his existence. He essentially died (it's that Scorpio side to me as well) I'm not even interested in checking back to see how it burns him. I already know it does. I hope I helped the next girl out a little by teaching him a lesson ;)

HA! Oh god this is great. I work with a guy with Mars in Aries in the 7th. He is an utterly obnoxious, self-centered bully. He's also brilliant, but his egocentric ways of relating FAR outweigh his good points. I've stepped away from my desk and returned to find him sitting in my chair and eating from my lunch plate!!! I've been wondering how to tame this big, dumb gorilla. Thanks for the ideas!

Scorp: That's some pretty awesome stuff right there. That you put the teacher into place, and that you also did it in a such effective manner, instead of being the "hysteric mother" as they say. I imagine you make one awesome parent and guidance for your kids.

Tina: Arians are indeed social and fun creatures, and they sure know how to explode every fifth second and then cool of and put on a wide grin as if nothing took place.

I know three Arians, and I've watched movies with two of them (not simultaneously), and funny enough, they were always the ones getting into the movies and getting annoyed that I guessed the plot before it was revealed.

They never hold a grudge or anger. They get it out and it's over with. A lot of fun to go out and socialize with as well.

Just not very bogged down in emotions so don't look for much empathy when you cry at a sad movie you are watching with them.

My daughters old teacher was an aries.. I'm a scorpio and my kid is a lovable taurus.
The teacher messed with my kid and then refused to acknowledge it.
Long story short, she called my daughter a liar and encouraged her to be picked on by other students in the class. It traumatized more than just my daughter in the classroom. Other students went home crying that day too.
When my daughter told the teacher how she felt about the days events the teacher said, "dont be a big baby, its irritating."
I found all the dirt on the aries I could and then held her accountable in front of a room full of her superiors. It felt goood.
She left the room crying after an hour of retelling the story and her answering questions from her superiors.
I didn't give her another chance to mess up my kid. I pulled her out.

I had a hurtful affair/relationship-experience with an Aries. I don't consider that person as my enemy nor am I ever being openly hostile, despite the fact that I have nothing good to say about them on an emotional level.

First of all, it is of convenience to me to have the Aries as the catalyst to social connections. Second of all, open hostility is draining and will never serve to any advantage, in my opinion. I avoid conflicts and headbutting if I can.

I tend to put the Ram into place sometimes though. I feel like what I do is perfectly justifiable for the affair-hell I got dragged into. Since that Aries is very dependent of success, acknowledgement, recognition and attention, the worst thing one can do to them is being indifferent, unaffected or not take them too seriously.

Which is exactly what I do. I am indifferent, clinical, unattentive and it can drive the Ram insane and even affect their esteem. May not sound right of me to do, but as said, I feel like it's perfectly justified.

The Ram isn't too fond of hearing of other people's success or admiration either, and gets easely bugged by implications and secrets. At least the Aries-native I refer to is like that.

No!! I love Arians! I'm just as impatient and fiery as they are (although I don't have any Aries in my chart), so I can relate to them. I especially love that they can get so angry and forget all about it within fifteen minutes of a blow-up. After all, if you're gonna be angry with me, tell it to my face, get it over and done with and then let it go. I LOVE that. Also, I love their directness. Nothing irritates me more than people who beat around the bush. So if you're looking for someone to foil Arians' plans, don't look at me.
