Oh, I also meant to say most of the other stuff is happening too, I'm feeling the urge to change everything in my home and wardrobe, and throw out everything not concerned with my new personna. I have decided to stop trying to blend in and be myself, to my surprise I have been coming across articles online that help me define myself better. I'm goth BTW! LOL!
I'm considering putting up the decorations for October and just leaving them there. I'm taking some clothing from the safe, "dress-up" area of my wardrobe and actually wearing them to go shopping. I'm considering a diet that has you eating a different type of caloric intake every 2 days. I started an online group to find others like me. Yes, big changes, and keeping up with it seems almost overwhelming because I'm amazed how quick it is happening! So yes even in general terms, the info helps me know that I should just relax and go with it, it's probably exactly what I need.

Hey, I totally understand, and have never asked for specifics on my chart. I have the same problem with "friends" coming back from paying another psychic to ask my advice for free. And since we must add the tag "for entertainment only" it doesn't help!
But this is valuable to me, as knowing a bit, and being able to observe, I knew this eclipse was a wild one!
I'm a sag, and boy did I wonder just what the heck was up on 9-11 this year! I had so much weirdness go on I came home exhausted and wondering what hit me!

My experience of this New Moon (Natally, I'm Asc 23 Sag, Mars & Jupiter @ 12 Pisces conj. Venus, trine Uranus)has been precisely as you outlined. All my good eating habits went haywire over the past couple of weeks, and there was nothing I could do. Suddenly all my discipline, conscious intentions, and will, were totally powerless. It was clear that there was no way I was going to continue to eat, or think about food, in the controlled way I had in the past. The week or so before the Eclipse: Chaos, out of control. Since the Eclipse: A new Order installed itself--all my ideas about food, taste, desire, sharing food, and pleasure in serving, eating and drinking, changed radically; seemingly all by themselves--as thought something were being done to me completely out of my volition! Extraordinary. Rather like travelling perfectly contentedly in a good old Rover Metro and suddenly finding myself inhabiting an S Type Jag. Marvellous. But needs some getting used to! Your post was most helpful in understanding and riding out this profoundly discombobulating Eclipse. Thank you.

I agree with Pat about the difficulties astrologers face. that said, I was reading through the blogs and some of it did sound familiar. I am just coming out of a break up, although not really sure if this is the end, but during these discussions as well as other tense discussions with other people about other things, in the last few days I have found myself a lot more centered and stronger in my thoughts and actions. A clearer and stronger connection between the two, where most of the time I am just all sorts of confused and more apt to hide and let things fester (Scorpio Moon). Instead of backing down though like I usually do, I find myself sticking up harder for myself and believing more in myself and that my thoughts are correct and clear. I am only a dabbler in astrology, but I've dabbled for a good amount of time so far. I dont usually study in any great detail my placements and the degrees and such. I do know that my Gemini Venus is Square Uranus, and that I have a Virgo Saturn and Gemini Mars if thats helpful to anyone who is studying astrology. (7/5/79 4:55am, Chicago IL)

I´ve had a heart-shattering break-up. Am hitting a wall at work and have been feeling things aren´t moving at the speed I´d like them to. And am really not taking as good care of myself as I should be. So I guess I´m in the ashes phase of the phoenix process and even though I did squeeze myself fresh oranges for breakfast today, really need some fresh air meditation (I´ve never ever done this) and deeper look into myself. I've been having strange dreams lately. The first one came a couple nights ago. I won the lottery, but couldn't find my lottery ticket. Of course, no one believed me. The anxiety from trying to prove myself woke me up. Now I can't even remember the dream I had last night, but I woke up feeling really nervous/scared. I just don't feel like myself right now.

Loving these changes, already induced... Here are my (quickly written) text book-case examples of the current influences, for your comments and enjoyment) [first time posting]:

This eclipse is conjunct my natal pluto which is conjunct my ascendant, which also squares my, duh, 4th house. Wayell...I'm moving, and just experienced a "passion" like deluge of visciousness, from violent outbursts from a mentally unstable person, who is obviously taking out their pain on me, and projecting their own issues outward(the landlord's groundskeeper) in the most needlessly dramatic ways, self damaging, in fact. (Prayers and blessings to this person for their healing).WHICH has been GOOD in that it jump started me into my own apartment (YAY!!) (Oh, did i mention that this new moon and eclipse are squaring my natal moon (of course, in the 4th house, conjunct the 4th cusp.)

WHich all indicates a lovely big phat challenge to claim my own new terrain. And with gardens, herbs growing, and lovely butterflies all over the place, plus a walk to ocean, my dog will be VERY happy in his new home. Just a lot of elbow grease to put things in order.

So my entire persona, public image is shifting with this move (solar eclipse - conjunct my AC) and I'll be able to be more productively creative in this new home (I'm a Libra Sun with Virgo rising)...and with the creative freelance home-based work (the pisces point falls into my 6th house of service and freelance work , ruled natally by uranus). oh, PLUS: I got a freelance job that surprisingly funded the electricity getting turned on TODAY (also uranus) in the new place...And I'm being given a loaner set of wheels by the same employer until my own wheels are fixed...surprises, and not all stressful ones, but many terrific ones is the theme here.

My ascendant is at 19 pisces, so the eclipse will oppose that and conjunct my descendant. I'm not sure what it will bring, but I feel a release coming on and I am trying my best not to look at it as a negative thing (ie loss of a person in my life). I would like to lose some patterns of though/actions in relationships and towards myself though. Mars is also opposing my sag stellium.

It will be interesting to see how it all turns out, I've had one hell of an emotional year with Pluto sitting on my moon/midheaven, etc so I'm just taking it one day at a time.

The New Moon is conjunct my Pluto in Virgo in the 3rd house and Mars in Gemini is conjunct my Venus in the 12th. The eclipse is basically triggering my natal t-square between the Moon/Venus/Pluto. I am definitely shaken to the core due to a major decision I made this weekend. I didn't think that my decision was impulsive; in fact, I've been thinking about it for a long while now but it is definitely going to shake the structure of my life. It's forcing me to look at my controlling and self-destructive patterns in relationships and it's TOUGH to see that stuff. It hurts. It's unpleasant to see that aspect of myself. I don't know how to let go and surrender so I'm hoping that this eclipse will help me in that regard.

Either way, I don't know what shape my life will take but I definitely made a huge decision this weekend regarding love and relationships and I hope I have the strength of character to end my self-destructive urges and to stop hurting others.

Thank you, Jeff, for your wonderful insights into astrology. I found your website around the time of the last lunar eclipse and have thought a lot about your observations and analysis. I also have thought about people's comments, especially the ones with the stats. As an amateur astrologer, I wished that the people who posted stats would return after the eclipse, give their stats again and then tell what actually did happen to them. In that way, the stats would be a very good learning opportunity for those of us who come here to learn more about astrology. And the posts would be more about sharing and learning from each other.

With 8 degrees Moon, 18 degrees Mars and 27 degree Ascendant in Pisces, that natal twelfth house of mine is really working to present the opportunity to wake up to the tricks of my ego. The details seem to be glaring in the sudden flareups (Mars) that occur when my dreams and psychic connections are challenged by my Virgo Sun mother whose birthday was on the lunar eclipse. And yet the opportunity to wake up through the power of love is very real and we both acknowledge it. The observor is being summoned by both of us.

Finally these painful and difficult eclipses seem to be presenting opportunities to come to consciousness. The work done between last spring and now may actually pay off.

I have a grand water trine to my Pisces ascendant and planets that are affected by the eclipses. I am healing from grief and loss that tied into the eclipses last spring (Scorpio, eighth house, Venus/Saturn conjunct; I finally got an offer that I can accept on selling my house which has been on the market for a year, and I just learned that I am going to be a grandparent(Uranus/Jupiter conjunct, fifth house, Cancer).

I have confirmed to myself in a very personal and experiential way that the real world is largely composed of that which we cannot sense with the common five senses. Plus I am about to embark on a new venture that involves scientific research into mystical yet physical phenomena. I assume this is a Uranus influence.

I'd love to hear the how and what regarding the eclipses, degrees and happenings in other people's lives. In the last posts, there were some amazing degrees and revelant aspects and I know that other people have stories about what has been going on. Do tell so we can learn more about astrology and how it plays out. Amateur astrologers don't have a lot of opportunity to hear about how it plays out in other people's lives. It is so much more educational to hear what actually happened than to read predictions. ~ CL

Thanks, too, for adding the comment at the end. On my own blog, I typically don't go into analyses of charts, although from time to time I respond to specific questions, because people are always more interested in "what does it mean for me" than general trends. But please, folks, understand that coming to an astrologer's blog and asking for free chart analysis is like going to your doctor or dentist and asking for a free diagnosis. We make our living doing this, and it's not an easy road, precisely because people don't think what we do has any "real" value. And that's the message you send when you ask for free answers.

So Jeff, I'm glad you finally put your foot down and said something. I wanted to comment to that effect on your last post, but didn't think it was appropriate for me to do so on your blog.
