I spent a school year attending school in Finland (it counted towards my degree) and it was very, very tough. Yes, i learned a lot and gained a truly valuable perspective about my fellow humans but i was homesick most of the time. So I'm wary of traveling abroad. Since then I stuck to living up and down the West Coast before settling down in the house I grew up in! However, I love the Internet and being able to connect with others from around the World, so there you go!

Good post on what may prove a kick-butt New Moon (sets off the September Eclipse degree)!Neithhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05611404164493055394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28679937.post-77944633895488218782007-12-07T10:36:00.000-05:002007-12-07T10:36:00.000-05:00HBHHey Jeffrey I also have Saturn in my 9th house ...HBH
Hey Jeffrey
I also have Saturn in my 9th house opposite Jupiter and I love to travel. I find it absolutely thrilling. Although the french throwing snails at me doesn't sound like fun. odd that. But I am wondering what suprises are in store with Uranus(in 6th) Squaring Sun/Moon(in 3rd). Looks like I'll have my foot in my mouth again.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28679937.post-74611694541953885402007-12-07T09:32:00.000-05:002007-12-07T09:32:00.000-05:00This New Moon has had me concerned from when I was...This New Moon has had me concerned from when I was first aware of it a year ago. Seems like it's to be a threshold - or a major decision-making point. Sure enough, this is when I have to make a presentation that will affect my career for several years to come, plus the man I'd like to spend the rest of my life with is coming to visit. Hunh! I now expect surprises, sudden changes in plans, but how to be firm without panic or complete derailment? Maybe the hoped-for track is merely to be back on track by the next new moon, either in the relative stability of where I am now, or having made an inch of forward motion.

Or will it turn into a true stepping-off point?

At any rate, your writing is always helpful! That nightmare of starving in an alley in an unknown land happens far too often - in small social or larger career situations, where "winging it" just doesn't work. But one wakes up from a nightmare. Or plans for that trip to the strange country. Or at least takes a small jar of peanut butter for extra sustenance. Better than being pelted with snails.

So I read your messages and I try to wake up, prepare, look right and left, and not panic!
Charliecharlitonoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28679937.post-18493981296411744972007-12-07T06:59:00.000-05:002007-12-07T06:59:00.000-05:00Interestly I received your e-mail in my inbox. My Gemini husband and I (Leo with Gemini rising) have just decided to embark on a new side hobby. We are both very "busy" people, involved in many activities, and have both been studying astrology for decades. My husband is quite like you in terms of the educational degrees at an early age; however his profession is an educator. He was called the "professional student" by many of our peers for a long tme.

But, the point is, this weekend, I had already set aside the time to start this new venture and you have just confirmed that this is what we should do. I do not want to divulge exactly the nature of this astrological site until I put it online, but will keep you informed as it progresses because, somehow, I believe that your e-mail was the inspirational impetus I needed to stop proscratinating and get this off the ground. I have always liked to read whatever you had to say, you are insightful and educational.

OmowaleAvengingAngelnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28679937.post-68416802073181005672007-12-07T06:02:00.000-05:002007-12-07T06:02:00.000-05:00Why I have the direct experience of course, Jeffre...Why I have the direct experience of course, Jeffrey! Surrender to my higher power when I'm dragging my heels, and generally just in touch wiht the spirit of all that is.;-)
Anyway, besides that, I do like study, and different cultures, and languages, and compartive religion(Sun in my 9th Hse)
But like you said-- I identify too--Saturn is *also* there, right on my Sun, and not far form Neptune and I fear travel, and make excuses not to go far.
I sometimes have loved travel I have to say--but just as often if not more---phobia time.:-/

ProserpineKarenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17635098996636723872noreply@blogger.com
