There was only 3 channels back then (eee, but we were proud!) so maybe we ended up watching a lot of the same stuff.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;There seems to be a lot more innocence to the earlier kids programmes (Ivor the Engine, Blue Peter, etc) whereas now things seem to be more combat orientated (any action figure cartoon).
